Coffeyville Library to Launch Summer Reading Challenge

The Coffevyille Public Library is challenging the community to read 6,000 books this summer.

Library Director Rachel Koszalka says that the community exceeded last year's goal of 5,000 books.

Koszalka says every book read counts, even kids' books read multiple times.

Koszalka says for every book a teen or adult reads, they will get an entry into the summer reading grand prize, which is a Garmin health monitor. Visiting one of the Little Free Libraries around town will also earn an entry. Summer reading for adults and kids will officially kick off next month.
