The Sedan City Council discusses the opening date for the City Swimming Pool.

 

At this week's meeting, council members examined the pool's finances. Mayor Kathy Miller says the pool plans to once again seek sponsors to allow kids to swim at no cost.

 

Miller also praised the pool management. She says employees have been very judicious with their use of expensive pool chemicals.

 

Council members approved the pool opening date for May 23. The hours of operation will remain the same as last summer.
