Western Kansas Man Arrested by KBI for Manufacturing Meth

 

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation arrests a Rooks County man for manufacturing methamphetamine.

 

According to the KBI, 63-year-old Richard E. Beck of Stockton, KS, was arrested on Monday, May 4. State agents began an investigation into Beck's activities afetr a request from the Rooks County Sheriff's Office in April. The investigation revealed that Beck had allegedly purchased methamphetamine precursor chemicals and stole anhydrous ammonia in order to manufacture methamphetamine.

 

Beck was booked into the Rooks County Jail in Stockton where he faces charges of  unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of anhydrous ammonia, possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana.
