The Nowata City Commission considers a proposal for the purchase of land.

 

At Monday's meeting, commissioners discussed several requests, including one for six acres. The individuals requesting to purchase the land says they wish to start a wrecker service with the land and hire employees. City Attorney John Heskett says more details are needed before a decision can be made.

 

All purchase requests were tabled.

 

The Nowata City Commission will meet again on June 1 at the Nowata Fire Department.
