The City of Coffeyville Water Plant is up and running once again.

On Monday morning, a contractor accidentally struck an overhead line while working on  the new transmission waterline at the plant. This caused the plant to be non-functional. City crews worked quickly to get the plant back up and running. Power was restored around 6pm Monday evening, but residents were asked to limit water use during the overnight hours to allow the system to restabilize.
