A motorcyclist and a passenger are injured after colliding with another vehicle in Pittsburg.

57-year-old Mark Vangurp of Parsons was traveling southbound on US-69 through Pittsburg just before 8pm on Monday when he attempted to turn into a parking lot. Vangurp turned in front of a Honda motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Briar Holding of Girard. The motorcycle collided with the other vehicle injuring Holding and his passenger 19-year-old Jordyn Oplotnik, also of Girard. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.
