Montgomery County is reminding taxpayers that second half taxes are due on May 11th.
Payments can be made in-person in either Independence at the County Courthouse or Coffeyville at the Tag Office. Both locations are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Payments may also be made online through the State of Kansas payment portal. Delinquent taxes may be paid online as well, but property owners should contact the Treasurer’s Office first to obtain accurate payoff information.
