The Caney City Council looks to fill a vacant council seat at tonight’s regular meeting.

On the agenda for this evening’s meeting is the appointment of Jacie Hilyard to fill that seat . The Council will also discuss amending the city ordinance dealing with the qualifications for filling vacant seats on the council. Also up for consideration will be the appointment of Joslyn Kuziak as Municipal Judge and of Roy Shafer to the Planning & Zoning Board.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 at the Caney City Hall. Those who wish to attend the meeting are asked to enter City Hall through the east doors.
