Cleaning Solution Manufacturer to Open New Facility in Fort Scott

 

The City of Fort Scott announces a new chemical blending facility will soon be opening in the City.

 

According to Fort Scott City Manager Brad Matkin, Diversey, a Solenis company, is a global leader in sustainable, high-performance cleaning and hygiene solutions will establish operations in a warehouse on Campbell Drive in Fort Scott. Diversey will be investing over $10 million to develop a chemical blending facility and warehouse at the site. The facility will primarily produce cleaning agents used by the food and beverage industry, strengthening supply chain capabilities and supporting customer needs across the region.

 

The project is expected to create between 35 and 40 permanent jobs at the start of operations, with hiring anticipated to begin in late this summer. Construction is slated to begin in mid-June with warehousing operations planned to start in the fall. Full operations are expected to be underway next spring.
