Caney City Administrator Andrea Sibley is a featured speaker at a state infrastructure event.

 

Sibley spoke at the Annual KS Infrastructure Hub Summit held on Wednesday in Hays. The Kansas Infrastructure Hub connects multiple state agencies to serve as a resource center for Kansas communities. The Hub coordinates with the private sector, as well as federal and local agencies, to develop partnerships and seek grant funds to strengthen Kansas infrastructure.

 

Sibley's presentation was called Small Town, Big Results: How Caney Leverages the Hub to Succeed. The audience was able to hear how the City of Caney turned limited staff capacity into infrastructure progress.

 

Other speakers at yesterday's event included Hays Mayor Mason Ruder and Kansas Secretary of Transportation Calvin Reed.
