The City of Independence learns the results of a recent citizen satisfaction survey.

 

The City is preparing to put together a new Community-Based Strategic Plan and asked citizens to reply to an online survey to measure satisfaction. The City also conducted several focus groups to gather more information. Mackey Smith with Vickrey Leadership Solutions addressed the Independence City Commission last week. Smith says the City showed improvement in several areas since the last survey in 2023.

 

Smith says the City still has some areas where it needs improvement.

 

The City will now take some time to examine the results of the survery to determine what priorities to focus on for the coming years.
