The Kansas Department of Transportation is repairing a short stretch of pavement on US-169 near the Elm Creek Bridge just south of Iola.
Work will involve full-depth concrete repair at three locations in that area. Two of the sites are approaches to the bridge; the third site is north of the bridge. A traffic light will guide one lane of traffic through the work zone. There is a lane restriction of 10 feet in the work zone. Travelers can expect delays of no more than 10 minutes. The project is expected to be completed by mid-May, conditions permitting.
A similar project on US-169 south of Humboldt involving three sites was completed last week.
