A weekend crash in Bourbon County leaves a Fort Scott motorcyclist with serious injuries.
50-year-old Lawrence Hunt III was seriously injured just after midnight on Friday night when he lost control of his 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle while traveling on a county road south of Fort Scott. Hunt was eastbound on Eagle Road near the intersection with US-69 when his motorcycle left the roadway and overturned. He was taken to Freeman Hospital in Fort Scott for treatment for his injuries. His female passenger was uninjured in the accident.
