The Montgomery County Commission will hear details of a final draft version of the County Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Regulations at today’s meeting.
At last week’s meeting, County Administrator Jonathan Booe presented a draft version of the plan that included the possibility of adding county-wide zoning regulations. Today, Booe is expected to present a revised version of the plan for further discussion and approval by the commission to select a planning and consulting firm to assist in preparing the final version of the plan. Booe will also discuss tow other Requests for Proposals for payroll and for GIS Services in addition to agreements for juvenile housing with Reno and Johnson Counties.
Commissioners will also hear Quarterly Reports from Public Works and from the I-T Department.
Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
