The Wilson County Commission signs a letter of support for a street project in Neodesha at this week's meeting.
The Granby Street project involves resurfacing a mile-long stretch of the road from US-400 to 8th Street. County Coordinator Kris Marple says this road plays an important part in the local industry. The Economic Development Administration is funding only the city of Neodesha's share of the approximately $5 million project. Marple says this leaves the County to secure the remaining funds.
The commission voted unanimously to put the chairman's signature on the support letter.
