A portion of U.S. 160 is currently closed between K-99 east of Moline and U.S. 75 near Elk City due to emergency road repairs.

Officials say crews are repairing a culvert damaged by fire about one mile east of the U.S. 160/K-99 junction. There is no through traffic and no official detour in place, so motorists will need to find alternate routes.

Drivers traveling west from Independence can still access Elk City, Elk Falls, and Longton.
