The final spotter presentation for southeast Kansas is coming up this week.

 

Storm Fury on The Plains, presented by the Wichita office of the National Weather Service will provide severe weather training and education for everyone. Meteorologists will go over severe weather formation and safety with a multimedia presentation, lecture and question and answer period. If you can't make this spotter talk, additional presentations will take place through the Tulsa office of the national weather service through early next month.

 

The presentation will be this Thursday at 6 p.m. at Memorial Hall in Independence.

 

The presentation is free and no registration is required.
