The Montgomery County Commission will hear details of the grant funding for work on Coffeyville’s South Buckeye Street at today’s meeting.
County Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins will appear before the commission with detail from the Kansas Department of Transportation’s award letter about the project on South Buckeye that will allow the county to continue work south to the state line. There will also be a discussion of the KDOT Cost Share Program. County Administrator Jonathan Booe will review the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Regulations Draft Request for Proposals while representatives from the County Health Department will be on hand to discuss new grants for 2027.
Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Commission Room on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the County’s website.
