Two people are injured following a two-vehicle accident southeast of Weir.
The crash occurred just before 5pm Monday evening at the intersection of Northeast Liberty Road and 60th Street. A 2022 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by 35-year-old Jeremy Gullick of Galena had entered the unmarked intersection of the two rural roads when a 2006 Dodge Dakota driven by 39-year-old Richard Coles of Weir failed to yield. The Dakota struck Gullick's truck, causing it to overturn.
Both men were taken to Pittsburg's Mercy hospital with minor injuries.
