A man is arrested in Independence following a burglary report.

Officers from the Independence Police Department responded to a call of a possible vehicle burglary on Wednesday night. Police were called to the 700 block of Washington Street just after 9pm that evening. A suspect was located at the scene and an investigation revealed that the individual had an outstanding warrant in Montgomery County.

47-year-old Michael E. Anderson was taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of criminal threat.
