The Coffeyville FFA Chapter places in a regional competition.

 

On Tuesday, six FFA students traveled to Iola to compete in the Southeast District Ag Sales and Dairy Judging Competitions.

 

Chapter Reporter Tyler Thompson says this is one of many events they compete in through the year.

 

In Ag Sales, Bennett Thompson placed 7th overall. Vice President Cavin Schaplowsky says the event is good practice for public speaking.

 

The dairy judging team also placed second overall, with Avery Sells taking 1st and Alek Plute receiving 7th individually. Chapter members also report good turnout and participation among future members during the recent National FFA Week.
