The Wilson County Commission approves a grant application for Wilson County Medical Center.

 

At the commission's most recent meeting, approval was given for a grant application for Wilson County Medical Center for a USDA Rural Development grant. If awarded, the money would go toward funding an ambulance facility. Commissioners also gave their approval to two Neighborhood Revitalization plans.

 

In other business, County Coordinator Kris Marple submitted the County Emergency Operations Plan Promulgation for the revisions submitted & approved by the Kansas Department of Emergency Management. Wilson County Appraiser Jessica Porter reported that change of value notices had been mailed out to county residents.

 

The Wilson County Commission will hold its next meeting today at 9am. The meeting is open to the public and is held at the Wilson County Courthouse in Fredonia.
