Drivers will see an increase in the speed limit on a section of road that leads in and out of Coffeyville.
City Manager Ben Brubaker says the speed limit on part East 8th Street will increase from 30 to 40 mph. Brubaker says the Coffeyville Traffic Safety Committee got together and made the decision to submit the speed limit increase.
The Coffeyville City Commission approved the speed limit increase as a part of the consent agenda at this week's meeting.
