Coffeyville Regional Medical Center receives two recognitions highlighting the hospital’s commitment to safe care for mothers and babies. Women’s Health Director Jennifer Wintjen says they received the Gold Medal for Newborn Screening from the Kansas Department of Health.

Wintjen says they were also recognized as a 2026 U.S. News Best Hospital for Maternity Care. CRMC OBGYN Dr. Perry Lin says this is a great recognition of their efforts to continue to improve women's health care.

President and CEO Brian Lawrence says they are incredibly proud of their Women’s Health team. He says their dedication ensures that newborns in the region receive the earliest possible detection of conditions where early treatment can make a lifetime of difference.
