The Caney City Council moves forward on the demolition of a structure deemed dangerous and unsafe.
The decision to demolish the residence at 203 North State Street came at this week's Council meeting. City Clerk Adam Lanter says the property has been an issue for some time.
Lanter says the City has also made the decision on a new building.
Lanter added that Caney residents will also see some changes to their utility bills as the change is in progress to switch from postcards to envelope mailers. The next Caney City Council meeting will be on March 16th at 6:30pm.
