A Minnesota woman is injured in a Thursday afternoon crash near Arma.
The accident happened just after 1pm Thursday at the intersection of K-47 and US-69, just south of Arma. A 2014c Ford Flex driven by 63-year-old Theresa Martin of Cook, Minnesota, was traveling southbound on US-69 when she attempted a left turn onto K-47. A Peterbuilt semi driven by 59-year-old Michael Connor of Burlington, was eastbound on K-47 and failed to stop at a red light while executing a left turn onto US-69. The semi struck the smaller car on the passenger side as both vehicles were turning. Martin was taken to the Girard Medical Center with minor injuries.
Connor was uninjured.
