Two people are injured in a motorcycle accident just west of Pittsburg.
Around 9:30 Tuesday night, 33-year-old Kyle Redwood, of Pittsburg, approached a red light on his motorcycle on Quincy Avenue at the intersection with US-69. There was another vehicle stopped at the light and Redwood drove around it and ran the red light. In the intersection, he struck a 2005 Kia Sedona. The impact ejected both Redwood and his passenger 29-year-old Hannah Rueda, also of Pittsburg, from the bike.
Both were taken to Pittsburg's Mercy Hospital with undisclosed injuries. No one in the Kia was injured.
