The Bartlesville Police Department releases the identities of the two individuals involved in a Saturday night murder-suicide.

 

On Saturday morning, officers with the Bartlesville Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting that a man was preventing his girlfriend from leaving a home in the 1600 block of West Second Street. After arriving on the scene, police encountered a man standing inside the front door of the residence. The man retreated into the residence and heard gunshots.

 

When officers entered the residence, they found two deceased individuals inside. They have been identified as 37-year-old Justin McIntyre and 37-year-old Mary Groomes.

 

B-P-D's Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate the crime.
