The Nowata City Commission considers concealed carry guidelines for City employees.

 

The discussion came at last night's meeting. Police Chief Mike McElhaney says there would be requirements for those who choose to carry.

 

Commissioners went on to approve the policy.

 

In other business, commissioners approved amending an ordinance that would create a board of trustees for the Nowata cemetery. The board tabled the action item regarding which individuals would serve on the board.
