The Cherryvale City Administrator is announcing his resignation.
At Monday's Cherryvale City Council Meeting, City Administrator Michael Hall announced that he will be resigning in 90 days.
The announcement came after a 20-minute executive session held at the beginning of the meeting.
Hall took the job as city administrator in November of 2024 and says he's proud of what he's been able to accomplish during his time with the city, including work on the city's comprehensive plan, momentum on restructuring the budget and plans for an additional 10 houses to be developed in town.
Hall did not give a reason in the public meeting as to why he is resigning. He says he plans to return to the private sector. Hall's last day will be May 28th.
Hall will appear during his scheduled time on The Mighty 690 at 8:10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3rd to discuss city matters.
