The Caney City Council will meet tonight and discuss changes to city ordinances on rates for city sewer and water.

Council members are expected to approve a change to City sewer rates to make the minimum base rate $40 per month during old business. During new business, council members will consider a similar increase to City water rates that would change the base payment to $46 per month. There will also be a discussion on the demolition of a property in the 200 block of North State Street.

Tonight's meeting begin s at 6:30 on the east end of Caney City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
