A suspect in a Winfield shooting is arrested northwest Arkansas.
According to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department, the suspect was discovered during a traffic stop by an Arkansas State Trooper on Tuesday afternoon. Police arrested 29-year-old Joshua Paul Pourciau in connection to a shooting that occurred at the Walnut Towers apartments in Winfield in December. He now faces a charges of attempted first degree murder.
Pourciau is the second suspect arrested in the case. The other suspect, 31-year-old Rocky Leroy Brown was arrested in January and also charged with attempted first degree murder. Brown entered a no contest plea in Cowley County earlier this week to aggravated battery. He will be sentenced in March.
