The Wilson County Rural Fire Department responds to their fourth grass fire in four days.

Units responded to a grass fire this afternoon in the northeast part of the county. According to reports, crews were paged out at around 12:30pm for a fire that began as a controlled burn. The fire jumped a fire break and spread into nearby grassland.

Responding units were able to quickly bring the fire back under control. No injuries were reported.
