The Sedan City Council approves a major street project at this week's special meeting.

 

Council members met Wednesday to discuss a bid from Jeff Hull Paving & Seal Coating. Several of the main roads in downtown Sedan are in need to repaving and council members considered several options as to how to approach the project. Council Member Adam Clark says doing the entire project simply isn't economically feasible for the City.

 

The council decided to focus on the most needed areas to repair. Mayor Kathy Miller makes the motion to pay just over $216,000 for the project.

 

The next regular meeting of the Sedan City Council will be on Tuesday, March 3.
