The rest area on US-75 north of Yates Center will remain closed for repairs.
The Kansas Department of Transportation originally closed the rest area on February 13th to make repairs and conduct maintenance on the facility. The area and its parking lot were supposed to be closed for a week for the project. However, due to the discovery of additional necessary repairs, the completion date has been extended to April.
The rest area and parking lot, located about 5 miles north of US-54 on US-75, will remain closed until the project is complete.
