The City of Independence is asking residents for input on their relationship with the City and City services.
The online Citizen Satisfaction Survey is now open for feedback. Completion of the survey usually takes about 15 minutes and asks general questions about satisfaction with living and working in Independence. The survey includes questions about interactions with City staff and satisfaction with City utilities including Riverside Park and Ralph Mitchell Zoo.
The survey is part of the City’s regular strategic planning process, and responses will help inform City leaders as they develop 5 to 10-year priorities for projects, services and overall community development and identify areas in need of improvement. Surveys can be completed anonymously, and all responses are kept confidential.
Citizens are encouraged to attend an in-person Community Session to offer input and participate in planning discussions with City leaders. Participants may attend events on Wednesday, March 4, at 5:30pm at the Independence Civic Center; or on Friday, March 6, at 9am in the Memorial Hall upstairs lobby.
