The Humanities Project from Coffeyville Community College welcomes the husband and wife folk duo Rick and Donna Nestler to the Spencer Rounds Theater .
The Nestlers have been playing together for more than 20 years, performing a variety of music in different traditional genres. Among their specialties is music about the Hudson River in eastern New York state. Rick has also been life-long friends with musician Pete Seeger and his song “The River That Flows Both Ways” appears on Seeger's Grammy winning album “Tomorrow's Children.” Rick is a self-taught guitar picker and Donna is a classically trained musician.
The Nestlers will perform tomorrow night at 6:30 in the Spencer Rounds Theater on the CCC campus. Admission is free.
