Line crews were able to trace down the issue and locate a failed recloser just East of Walmart that caused widespread outages across the East portion of Coffeyville. According to Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power the recloser is beyond repair and will later need to be replaced, but linemen have rerouted services to restore power to affected customers.

Power outages are being reported in Coffeyville today due to morning storms.

 

According to Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power, outages affecting customers in the eastern portion of the service area are being reported. Linemen have been dispatched to investigate and restore power. If you are experiencing an outage, call the power plant at 620-252-6180 and leave a message with your name, address and phone number if operators are busy.
