An altercation between two employees at a Leawood, KS, senior living facility leads to a shooting.

 

The incident occurred in the early morning hours on Tuesday at the Healthcare Resort in Leawood, just south of Kansas City. One male employee fired a gun at another after the two men had a brief verbal altercation. The other man then fired back.

 

The first man fled the scene. He was later located and arrested by Overland Park Police. The second man remained on the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

 

No residents of the facility were injured in the incident.
