A Hominy man is found guilty of first degree rape in Osage County.
51-year-old Gideon Goodeagle was found guilty this week by an Osage County jury of all charges against him and was recommended to receive a sentence of life in prison. According to Hominy Police, Goodeagle committed the acts in June 2022 and then fled to Missouri. He was then arrested at a Springfield hotel. Goodeagle was free on a $75,000 bond but was taken back into custody following the verdict.
Formal sentencing will take place next month.
