Finney Wins Close Election for South Coffeyville School Board

 

Michael E. Finney wins a close election for a seat on the South Coffeyville School Board.

 

Finney was one of three candidates on Tuesday's ballot, winning with 49 votes or just over 50% of the total ballots cast. Kayla Gilpin received 42 votes while David Nash got 6 total votes.

 

Elsewhere in the election, Steve Tolson secured reelection over Billy Neal in Pawhuska, while voters in Ramona approved two school bond propositions for the Caney Valley, Oklahoma, Schools with 67% of the vote.

 

Bartlesville voters overwhelmingly approved all five ballot propositions up for consideration, with each proposition earning at least 70% of the total number of votes cast.
