The playground equipment at Grace Park in Coffeyville is removed with no plans to replace the equipment.

City Manager Ben Brubaker says this was part of the plan that was made after the approval of the park sales tax.  Brubaker says the Longfellow park isn't the only park in the area that will receive an upgrade.

Vice Mayor Deborah Maples says this will give kids who live in those areas a park option on either side of the railroad tracks so kids won't have to cross the track to go to a park.
