The USD 446-Independence School Board will meet tonight for its regular monthly meeting.

 

On tonight’s agenda will be the acceptance of staff resignations and new hires in addition to the expected approval for the IHS Choir trip to Little Rock in April. The Board will also recognize Gina McClenon, who was recently named the 4A Tennis Coach of the Year and Cara Devlin for the Kansas Association of Career Technology Education New Teacher of the Year.

 

Also up for consideration will be a request for proposals for food service management and an update on a roof replacement project for Independence High School.

 

Tonight’s meeting is open to the public. It begins at 7pm in the library at Independence High School.
