Coffeyville Community College's Columbus Tech Campus is recognized for its efforts in workforce training.
The Columbus Chamber of Commerce awarded CCC with the Community Impact Pillar Award for the school's contributions to workforce development, hands-on learning, and community involvement. CCC’s Columbus Technical Campus provides hands-on technical training designed to prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce. All programs offered at the campus align with nationally recognized credentials, allowing students to present proof of their skills to prospective employers. The Columbus Tech Campus offers coursework in Automotive, Construction, Collision Repair, and Welding as well as Power Sports Technology. Students in those programs have completed numerous community-based projects in Columbus, including the construction of the gazebo on the Columbus Square, restrooms at the city park, and the maintenance and office building at the Columbus City Cemetery.
