Phillips 66 confirms plans to relocate its Bartlesville Control Center to Tulsa as part of an operational consolidation, while also announcing a separate, unrelated reduction of fewer than 60 positions company wide.
The company says the control center move will consolidate operations for cost and efficiency purposes and will use an existing backup control center space in Tulsa. No job losses are planned as part of the relocation, and eligible employees will be offered relocation opportunities.
In a separate decision, Phillips 66 says some positions within its Energy Research & Innovation and Information Technology departments have been eliminated, with Bartlesville’s Research Center among several locations affected. The company says Bartlesville remains an important part of its history and that the changes are intended to better align operations with strategic priorities as the energy industry continues to evolve.
