Multiple agencies respond to a house fire in Cherryvale.
Around 8:20 last night, the Cherryvale Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of West 1st in Cherryvale.
Upon arrival, units found a fully-involved two-story home. Cherryvale Fire Chief Joe Rexwinkle says his crews had to go into a defensive attack due to the fire conditions.
Rexwinkle says the occupant of the home was able to get out of the house and there were no injuries. The structure is a total loss and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
