The boil water order for the City of Commerce, Oklahoma, is lifted..
The original order was issued on January 28th because of possible contamination due to mechanical issues with the city's water tower. The order continued as the city encountered difficulty in refilling the tower and maintaining water pressure in the system. The City reports following all state and federal regulations during the water emergency in an attempt to ensure the City's drinking water is safe. The order is now lifted and tap water is now safe to consume without prior boiling.
