Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt delivers his final State of the State address.

 

Earlier this week ,the governor kicked off the new session of the Oklahoma legislature by delivering his State of the State address to state lawmakers. Stitt highlighted the state's economic achievements in the past few years. He says Oklahoma moved from budget deficits to historic savings.

 

Stitt adds that such achievements require unity and a willingness to work together.

 

He also urges lawmakers to move cautiously when it comes to state finances.

 

Stitt also outlined his legislative priorities for the new session including changes to Medicaid expansion, expanding parental choice in education, and sending the issue of medical marijuana back to Oklahoma voters.
