The Humanities Project from Coffeyville Community College returns to this evening with a performance by storyteller Flavia Everman.

Everman began storytelling as a high school student and continued through her college years and into adulthood. As a professional storyteller, Everman  travels to daycares, schools, festivals and other gatherings to weave her magic into fairytales and folktales. A member of the Gateway Storytellers Group in St. Louis, Flavia has told stories at their conferences and has been featured as a Regional Storyteller for several years at the Annual Storytelling Festival in St. Louis. Her goal is to pass these stories on to children so that they won’t one day be forgotten.

Everman will perform tonight at 6:30 in the Spencer Rounds Theater on the CCC campus. Admission is free.
