Pittsburg fire crews respond to a small fire at the Jake’s Fireworks main facility in Pittsburg.

The incident occurred around 10:30 on Friday morning when firefighters were called to the Jake’s corporate headquarters located on East 27th Terrace. A spokesperson for the company stated that the fire was contained to a small maintenance building of a warehouse property. All employees were able to safely evacuate the building and no injuries were reported. There was also no damage to the main facility.

The facility was closed for the remainder of the day on Friday, but is expected to resume normal operations today.
